Everything Brunch Book Club: Soulful Morning Reads!

I feel bad for those who don’t invest their time into a good read every now and then because How to expand your Knowledge, Creativity, Inspiration 101: READ YOUR HEART OUT.

I can’t stress enough how healthy reading is for the brain, for mental and spiritual health. It also exercises the brain and those who read a lot for pleasure do better in school, especially in writing and critical assessment.

Like, didn’t we all read Junie B. Jones and Magic Tree House? Remember those adventures we would pleasure our minds to??? Well, stimulate your brain again! Reading something you LOVE is a total stress reliever. So, with that being said, every month, I will be posting new reads to enjoy, hence: the Everything Brunch Book Club!

As a college student, summer gives me plenty of time to catch up on some good books. Personally, I love Deepak Chopra for spiritual health to get my mornings started and L.J. Smith for some late night reads (Yes, I love a good paranormal fantasy, you all read at least one Twilight book and if you didn’t, you still watched it in theaters and swooned when Taylor Lautner took his shirt off)

Anyways, here are my favorite soulful morning reads:

  • “The Power of Freedom and Grace” by Deepak Chopra
    • I actually found this book in my grandfather’s bookcase and just read it because I was bored and this turned out to be my most absolute FAVORITE book ever! In this book, Deepak Chopra analyses the human soul’s purpose and what it truly means to feel successful and fulfilled in life. His narrative is extremely relatable to anyone and so inspiring and eye opening! I read a chapter a morning once I got my own copy!
  • “The Book of Secrets” by Deepak Chopra
    • Since I liked “The Power of Freedom and Grace” so much, my grandfather mailed me “The Book of Secrets” by Deepak Chopra and now I’m just a real big fan of the guy and think he probably has like the key to heaven or something. In his narrative, Deepak takes his readers through the spiritual journey of the hidden dimensions in your life. This book is also very eye opening and a bit more about psychology! I absolutely love this book and recommend it to everyone!

I’ll be posting many more reads soon so stay tuned!!

xx, Bri.
