Forget what you knew about oils for your face being BAD. YES, IT’S TRUE! Oil for the face is good! Actually, it’s great! Besides Tea Tree Oil, which assists with calming zits and horrendous breakouts, other oils for your skin are actually better and much more gentle and chemical-free compared to moisturizers that can be advertised as “gentle for sensitive or acne-prone skin”!

Contrary to the popular belief, oils aren’t what clog pores and cause breakouts most of the time. Actually, it’s the lack of moisture for your skin from over washing, over drying  and using too many irritating acne-fighting products that cause your gentle skin to dry up and crack! When skin is not getting enough nutrients and the right amount of moisture, it produces excess oil to protect and help itself and thus ends up clogging your pores and causing breakouts.

Facial Oils have many benefits for clarifying and detoxing your skin! I like to use these at night before bed or early in the morning under my moisturizer or primer and no they do not make you look shiny and gross. In fact, my favorite facial oils listed below actually combat acne, control blemishes and prevent premature aging!
