Styling French Apparel featuring Equipment

I would say my style is (most of the time) boho simplistic. I love the chic hobo look adopted by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I love that effortless cute put-together look that’s so simple and easy to maintain. I love pieces that can work together cohesively and I love a closet that can be dressed down or dressed up for any occasion.

My favorite simplistic style would be inspired by the French. I love their femme details to tomboyish pieces. Not only is there style not extremely slim-fitting, but it’s comfy casual, loose and still has a fitting look to it. My favorite brand for French apparel would be the all-empowering women brand, Equipment.

TOMBOY LOOK

These are two equipment pieces I have been loving. Their tops are usually button-ups that again have that femme feature of tomboyish styles like adding a pop of color or femme cuts.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

The French style, while also simplistic, pays attention to detail. A simple way to dress up a velvet box-fitted shirt is incorporating ties and bows to add the femme detail that makes it French! Like so.

DRESSING DOWN

A great way to dress down a button up shirt is to wear distressed denim and add slip-on sandals to create that effortless comfy and easy look that still looks femme and chic and put-together! These are featuring my favorite shorts by AMO denim and sandals from Joie.

“STAYING TRUE TO ITS HERITAGE, THE NEW EQUIPMENT COLLECTION RECALLS THE CLASSIC, MINIMALISTIC UNDERTONES OF THE ILLUSTRIOUS BRAND, FUSING UNPARALLELED FRENCH SOPHISTICATION WITH AN AIR OF EFFORTLESSLY CHIC STYLE. TIMELESS AND INNOVATIVE, THE COLLECTION EXUDES DISCREET SEXINESS IN THE FORM OF LUXE FABRICS AND UNEXPECTED DETAILS FOUND IN MODERN, ANDROGYNOUS SILHOUETTES. THE RANGE OF PRINTS, FABRICS AND SHAPES COMPLEMENT THE MANY FACETS OF THE EQUIPMENT WOMAN: SHE IS STRONG, CHIC, ELEGANT, ADVENTUROUS, SEXY, AND ABOVE ALL, CLASSIC.”
