2020 RESOLUTIONS (Like, I GUESS We’ll Call Them That)
Can someone tell me where the year went because 2018 was yesterday.
….Like, seriously.
ANYWAYS, HAPPY 2 YEARS TO THE BLOG!!! What a wild ride it’s been to say the least.
I’ll do a quick honest to GOD recap of the last TWO years because so much has happened that I feel like an entirely different person and the same at the same time?
2018 in a nutshell: Interned for the first time for a fashion PR agency in Beverly Hills (LOVED every f*cking minute of it). Got my bachelor’s degree in the Spring, traveled to Spain, Oahu and Kauai (left with a million bug bites). Became a regular at numerous bars (a breakup will do that to you). Landed my first full-time job in marketing in the medical field. Made a SH*T ton of new friends/neighbors. Updated TF out of my blog, so welcome 2019.
2019 in a nutshell: Had a mental career crisis (missed fashion so much, it hurt). Went to a few music festivals to cope with the angst and also to make the most of my weekends and PTO. Started working back in fashion (the risk is WORTH the reward). Moved apartments for the first time in three years. Dating became a thing again. Made new friends…YET AGAIN…And, again…updated the blog.
AND THAT’S A WRAP!
If anything, the last two years have inspired some of my favorite posts I’ve written and taught me nothing goes as planned, LITERALLY NOTHING! And that’s totally OK. Here’s a few of my favorites from the last couple years:
Why Intention Has Everything To Do With Settling
5 Things I’ve Learned From My Parent’s Divorce
A Broke Girl’s Guide to Credit
Getting Through That Career Funk
Career shifts, new roommates, moving and everything in between brought me to such a wonderful place in my life where I have SO much to be thankful for. SO, with that being said, I’m not a full-blown believer in resolutions, but here’s some attainable ones for next year everyone in their twenty-somethings can relate to:
